Statement of Commitment

Riverside FC is committed to ensuring that equity is incorporated across all aspects of football. We acknowledge the importance of diversity and the positive contribution it brings to our club and community.

Policy Statement

Riverside FC is responsible for setting standards and values to apply throughout the club at every level. We are committed to eliminating discrimination based on:

Our Commitments

Implementation

Recruitment

All roles at the club are open to all, with selection based on skills and experience, not personal characteristics.

Training & Development

We provide equality and diversity training for all coaches and committee members.

Facilities

We ensure our facilities are accessible to people with disabilities wherever reasonably practicable.

Communication

We use inclusive language in all our communications and materials.

Reporting Discrimination

If you experience or witness discrimination at Riverside FC:

  1. Report it to any committee member
  2. Contact our Equality Officer: equality@riversidefc.com
  3. Report to the County FA if you prefer to report externally

All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated thoroughly.

Sanctions

Anyone found to have committed an act of discrimination will be subject to the club's disciplinary procedures. Serious breaches may result in expulsion from the club and referral to the County FA.
