2025 Annual General Meeting

1. Welcome
Chair Margaret Chen welcomed members and confirmed the meeting was quorate.
2. Apologies
Apologies received from: P. Williams, S. Turner, J. Cooper
3. Minutes of 2024 AGM
The minutes of the 2024 AGM were approved as an accurate record. Proposed: R. Williams. Seconded: D. Patterson. Carried unanimously.
4. Chair's Report
Margaret Chen presented the Chair's report, highlighting:
- Successful centenary celebrations throughout 2023/24
- Women's First Team winning County League title
- Academy continues to produce first-team players
- Increased membership (now 312 members, up from 278)
- Clubhouse refurbishment completed
5. Treasurer's Report
David Patterson presented the financial report:

6. Election of Directors
Three positions available. Nominations received:
- Robert Williams (standing for re-election)
- Sophie Turner (standing for re-election)
- James Mitchell (new nomination)
- Sarah Collins (new nomination)
Results of ballot:
- Robert Williams — 42 votes (elected)
- Sophie Turner — 38 votes (elected)
- Sarah Collins — 31 votes (elected)
- James Mitchell — 28 votes
7. Appointment of Auditors
Proposed that Smith & Jones Accountants be reappointed. Carried unanimously.
8. Special Resolution: Constitution Amendment
Proposed amendment to increase maximum Board size from 9 to 11 directors. Carried: 44 in favour, 2 against, 1 abstention (93.6%)
9. Any Other Business
- Member asked about floodlight upgrade — Board confirmed seeking grants
- Member raised car parking concerns — under review
- Vote of thanks to volunteers
